The Institute for Historic & Educational Arts is a Not-For-Profit organization dedicated to the teaching of the almost "Lost and Forgotten" Arts.

IHEA demonstrates these skills in connection with Renaissance Festivals and teaches the almost "Lost and Forgotten" Arts in several settings. Our goal is not to create a world full of individuals that do this for a living but rather to expose people to the way things were done in their great-grandparent's day or the way it would have been done in the Renaissance Period..

We are a group of friends and family who enjoy sharing our time, our skills, and our love of what we do with the people around us — and in doing so, we hope to perpetuate some of the joy of creating beautiful, functional objects for everyday living.

Come, explore our site, get to know us, and see what we can do for you!
