you view our online sample catalog, we thought we'd answer a couple
of questions first!
Q. Where do you get your cool stuff? India? Pakistan? Hong Kong?
A. Nope! We make it all ourselves from recycled and new steel - it's
a local product because we have made it so.
Q. How fast can I get it?
A. We do not carry a lot of finished stock. We prefer to make
individual pieces to order. Therefore, it might take a little longer
than your usual supplier but we think it's worth the wait!
Q. Can I get a lot made of all the same pattern?
A. We happily make large lots of specific items with adequate advance
notice. Because our work is made one piece at a time, there will always
be some variation in the finished results from the products pictured
in our online catalog, which makes them unique and therefore desirable
to collectors.
Q. What about prices???
A. You might end up paying more than you usually would for a similar
product, mass-produced overseas. However, from the I.H.E.A. you
will get a product that didn't involve questionable labor practices
or child exploitation. Anyone who purchases I.H.E.A. ironwork
can rest assured that they have purchased a quality, useful and highly
collectible product that they can use in everyday life and pass on
to the next generation as a useful American made heirloom.

Q. I want one! I want one! How do I get one? Can I have my own
design produced?
A. Would you like to commission a custom piece or request something
you've seen in our online
catalog for you or a loved one? Contact
us for the details and an estimate. Remember, if you don't see
it here, we can always make it for you from scratch with adequate
sketches, descriptions, and diagrams. We LOVE a challenge!
